A child who is four years old on or before September 1, 2012 may register for four-year-old kindergarten; however, the child must qualify for the program. A child who is five years old on or before September 1, 2012 can register for five-year-old kindergarten.
- Student’s state-issued birth certificate – not the hospital keepsake copy;
- Student’s South Carolina Certificate of Immunization;
- Proof of Pickens County residence. A parent or guardian must provide proof of Pickens County residence when a student first enrolls at any school. Acceptable proof of residence is a current electricity, gas, water or cable/satellite bill in the parent/guardian’s name. The bill must show the service address.
The West End Elementary Variety Show is scheduled for Friday, February 10, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Easley High School Auditorium. The Variety Show is intended to showcase the many talents of West End’s student body and is not a contest. All students interested in participating in the Variety Show must complete a Permission to Participate Form. This form and additional information can be picked up in the school office or downloaded from West End’s website. Completed per-mission forms must be returned by Friday, January 27. Auditions will be held after school on Wednesday, February 1. Dress rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, February 9 at 6:30 p.m.

During this time, a staff member will be available to assist you with items such as checking your child’s grades in SchoolFusion, signing up for a free e-mail account, job search and completing employment applications online, Microsoft Office training, etc. Be sure to mark these dates on your calendar!
